Privacy policy

In force on 27 September 2026. It describes exactly what the app does with your data — nothing more, nothing else.

Padeo is published by SOLEANE LLC, a company incorporated in the State of Florida (United States), [registered address to be completed], acting as data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation. Contact: hello@padeo.app.

Padeo is for people aged eighteen and over. The app is not intended for minors and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, it is deleted.

What we collect

Nine categories, and nothing beyond them.

Your account

Email address, first name or nickname, profile photo if you add one, spoken languages, date of birth. The date of birth is used to verify that you are eighteen; it is never shown to other players. Only your age may be shown, and only if you allow it.

Your game

Declared and then calculated level, clubs followed, availability slots, matches joined, attendance rate, tournament and league participation, and your federation ranking if you provide it.

Your location

An approximate location, used to sort matches and clubs by distance. You can decline it: the app then works on the zone you choose by hand. We do not keep a history of your movements.

Your messages

Conversations attached to a match, a club community or a tournament. They are stored so they can be shown to participants, and read by us only following a report.

Your photos

Profile photo, photos of the rackets you list for sale, photos you post in a community. They are checked automatically before publication to screen out prohibited content.

Padeo Date, if you turn it on

The dating module records the gender of the people you wish to meet, the age range you are looking for, your short introduction and your photos. Combined with your own gender, that preference reveals your sexual orientation: this is sensitive data, we treat it as such, and it only exists if you activate the module. Turning it off erases it.

Your listings

Brand, model, condition, price and description of the rackets you offer. Padeo is not a party to the sale and collects nothing on your behalf.

Your notifications

A technical token provided by your phone, which lets us send you match alerts. It cannot identify you outside the app and disappears if you uninstall.

Your purchases

When you subscribe to Padeo Date or boost a listing, we record the product purchased and its expiry date. We never see your card: payment is collected by Google Play or the App Store, which pass us no banking data.

Why

What each piece of data is for.

  1. 1

    Running the service

Signing you in, showing the matches that are playable for you, alerting you when a spot opens, running a tournament. Legal basis: performance of the contract formed when you create an account.

  2. 2

    Protecting players

Checking published content, handling reports, blocking abusive accounts, verifying age. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe, and our legal obligations.

  3. 3

    Introducing you, if you ask

Padeo Date only works on explicit consent, given when you activate the module. That is the legal basis for the sensitive data it processes, and you may withdraw it at any time by turning the module off.

  4. 4

    Understanding usage

Aggregate statistics — how many matches fill, which slots lack players — used to improve the product and advise clubs. These statistics do not contain your name. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

We do no targeted advertising, no advertising profiling and no data resale. None of your data is sold, rented or passed to a broker.

Who sees what

Other players, and four processors.

Other players

Your first name, photo, level, attendance rate, clubs and approximate neighbourhood. In Padeo Date, in discreet mode, others first see only your first name, level and neighbourhood: photos, introduction and age appear only after mutual interest.

Supabase

Hosting of the database and files, in the European Union. Processor under the GDPR.

Expo

Delivery of push notifications. Receives your device token and the text of the notification, nothing else.

Google Play, App Store, RevenueCat

Payment collection and purchase tracking. They tell us which product was bought and give us a purchase identifier, never your banking details.

Some of this data is hosted or processed outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Those transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We also disclose data to a judicial or administrative authority where the law requires it, and never otherwise.

Retention

How long we keep what.

As long as your account exists

Profile, level, clubs, availability, messages, listings, Padeo Date profile. All of it goes when the account is deleted.

Twelve months

The record of how a report was handled, without your name. App stores and the European Digital Services Act require it.

Indefinitely, unlinked from you

Matches and tournaments played stay visible to the other participants, with your name replaced by "deleted player". A score shared by four people cannot disappear because one of them leaves.

Ten years

Accounting records attached to a purchase, as the law requires. They contain only the product, the date and a purchase identifier.

Your rights

What you can demand, and how.

The General Data Protection Regulation gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

  1. 1

    Access and export

In the app: Profile → Privacy and data → Export my data. The file is produced immediately, in a readable and reusable format.

  2. 2

    Correct

Most information can be corrected directly in your profile. For the rest, write to us.

  3. 3

    Erase

In the app, or from the Delete my account page, which works without reinstalling the app. Deletion is immediate and final.

  4. 4

    Write to us

hello@padeo.app. We answer within thirty days, usually within forty-eight hours.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the data protection authority of your country of residence.

Security

How it is protected.

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to data is partitioned per account in the database itself, not merely in the app: one player cannot read another's data, even by bypassing the interface. The number of people with access to production data is kept to a strict minimum.

No system is invulnerable. In the event of a data breach likely to create a risk to your rights, we will notify the competent authority within seventy-two hours and, if the risk is high, notify you directly.

This policy may change. Any substantial change will be announced in the app at least thirty days before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will be updated. The English and Russian versions of this text are courtesy translations; in case of divergence, the French version prevails.
