The service
Padeo introduces padel players to one another: posting matches that need filling, targeting the players concerned, match conversations, club communities, tournaments and leagues, a marketplace for second-hand rackets, and an optional dating module.
Padeo does not book courts, does not collect the court fee, does not physically organise games, and is not a party to any contract between players, or between a player and a club. Booking and payment happen at the club or on its usual platform.
Neither that a match will fill, nor that a player who signed up will show up, nor that a court will be available, nor that a racket listed will find a buyer, nor that a date will happen. The attendance rate shown is an indicator drawn from history, not a promise.
We run the service with care but without any guarantee of continuous availability. Interruptions for maintenance, supplier failure or updates are possible.
Your account
Padeo is for people aged eighteen and over. By creating an account, you declare that you are. An account we learn belongs to a minor is deleted without notice.
An account is personal. You are responsible for what is done with it and for the information you publish. You undertake to use your real first name and a photo that represents you: other players decide whether to accept a game on that basis, and a misleading profile harms them directly.
You may close your account at any time, from the app or from the Delete my account page.
Rules
Insults, threats, discriminatory speech, persistent targeting of a person. No tolerance, including in private match conversations.
Prohibited everywhere, including in the dating module. Padeo Date is for proposing a time slot, not for exchanging images.
Passing yourself off as someone else, repeatedly inflating your playing level, posting a match that does not exist.
The marketplace is for players reselling their own equipment. It is not a distribution channel for a shop, and commercial soliciting in conversations is prohibited.
Automated data extraction, working around quotas, accessing data that is not yours, creating accounts in bulk.
We may remove content, restrict or close an account that breaks these rules. Where the decision concerns you, you are told with the reason, and you may contest it by writing to hello@padeo.app.
Your content
The text, photos and information you publish belong to you. You simply grant us the right to host them and display them to the people concerned, for as long as your account exists and in order to run the service. That right ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods described in the privacy policy.
Published content is checked automatically before going live. That check screens out most prohibited content, but it is not infallible: you can report any content from the app, and we act on it.
What is paid for
Most of Padeo is free and will stay free: posting a match, joining a game, following a club, chatting, taking part in a tournament, listing a racket within the monthly quota.
An optional dating module, for adults only, available by monthly subscription. It appears in the app only if you activate it. It has no messaging at all: after mutual interest, the only possible move is to propose a time to play.
A one-off purchase that puts your listing at the top of the list for a set period. You are buying visibility, not a sale. If the racket finds no buyer, the service has still been delivered.
Purchases are collected by Google Play or the App Store, under their own terms. Padeo never sees your banking details. Displayed prices include the taxes applicable in your country, collected and remitted by the store.
A subscription is cancelled in your Google Play or Apple account settings and stays active until the end of the current period. Refund requests are handled by the store, not by us. If a purchase was not credited because of a technical fault, write to us: we will put it right.
Deleting your Padeo account does not cancel your subscription with the store. Remember to cancel it separately.
The marketplace
Padeo hosts listings between private individuals and is not a party to the sale. Payment and handover happen directly between buyer and seller, outside the app. Padeo collects nothing, holds nothing, guarantees neither the condition of the equipment, nor the accuracy of the description, nor the proper completion of the transaction, and does not intervene in disputes between players.
The seller is responsible for the lawfulness of what they offer and for the accuracy of their description.
Meeting offline
Padeo arranges introductions, not meetings. Games, tournaments and dates arising from Padeo Date take place between responsible adults, in the real world, outside our control and without our presence.
We do not verify players' identities beyond what each declares, nor their background. It is for you to use your judgement: prefer a first meeting at a club or in a public place, tell someone close to you, and report any inappropriate behaviour from the app. Reporting and blocking are available on every profile.
To the extent permitted by law, SOLEANE LLC shall not be liable for the conduct of users towards one another, for harm occurring during a game or a meeting, or for transactions concluded between players. Nothing in these terms excludes liability which cannot lawfully be excluded, in particular for gross negligence or personal injury.
The rest
The Padeo name, logo, app and site are protected. You receive a personal, non-exclusive right of use, which does not allow you to copy the service, extract its data, or offer it under your own name.
These terms may change. Any substantial change will be announced in the app at least thirty days before it takes effect. If it does not suit you, you may close your account, which is the only consequence of refusing.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, without prejudice to the mandatory and more protective provisions you benefit from in your country of habitual residence if you are acting as a consumer. Consumers in the European Union may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.
